The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, has donated relief items and cash to families affected by flooding in parts of the constituency.
The MP visited Dzodze Bagome and Taso Lane to assess the extent of the damage caused by the floods. According to him, many families have suffered heavy losses as a result of the worsening situation.
To provide immediate support, Hon. Agbana donated food items, toiletries, and cash to some of the hardest-hit households. He said the assistance is intended to offer temporary relief while affected residents await further support from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and other relevant agencies.
The Municipal NADMO office will coordinate the distribution of the donated items to the affected families.
Hon. Eric Edem Agbana assured residents that he will continue to work with the appropriate authorities to ensure victims receive the support they need as recovery efforts continue.
