175 Youth Graduate from AI and Digital Skills Training in Ayawaso North
About 175 young people in the Ayawaso North Constituency have successfully graduated from a 14-day AI and Digital Skills training programme aimed at equipping them with practical knowledge for today’s digital world.
The graduation ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2026, at the School of Catering, Abavana, near the Maamobi Polyclinic.
The training programme was organized by the office of the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso North, Yussif Issaka Jajah, who also serves as Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, in collaboration with the Accra Newtown SallahFest Foundation.
Addressing the graduates, Hon. Jajah urged them to make good use of the skills they had acquired. He encouraged them to apply their knowledge in their daily lives and use it to solve problems within their communities.
“Use your skills to create solutions and uplift others in society,” he said.
The programme, which ran from March 2 to March 19, focused on building digital skills among the youth, giving them the opportunity to learn and explore new ways of creating income and improving their future.
The Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, who graced the occasion, used the platform to speak on the “Red Means Stop” campaign. He advised young people to stay away from drugs and make choices that will protect their future.
According to him, success begins with discipline and a clear mind. He encouraged the youth to focus their energy on positive activities such as learning digital skills and building innovative ideas.
The event brought together participants, organizers, and community members to celebrate the achievements of the graduates and to highlight the importance of empowering young people with relevant skills.
The initiative is expected to help participants take advantage of opportunities in the digital space while contributing positively to society.
