Deputy CEO in charge of Operations at the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr Kwesi Djokoto, has called for support to give the Keta Municipal Hospital a facelift ahead of its centenary celebration.
Dr Djokoto recently visited the hospital following a request from management to help mobilise support for the planned facelift.
The Keta Municipal Hospital has served the people of Keta and surrounding communities for nearly 100 years, providing healthcare services to many families over the years.
As the hospital prepares to mark its 100th anniversary, Dr Djokoto said it was important for the people of Keta, stakeholders and other partners to come together to support the hospital.
He said the facelift would not only honour the hospital’s long history of service but also help improve its facilities and create a better environment for patients and health workers.
Dr Djokoto called on sons and daughters of the land, businesses, organisations and other partners to contribute towards the project.
He noted that supporting the facelift would help secure the future of the hospital and enable it to continue serving the people of Keta and beyond for many more years.
The centenary celebration is therefore expected to provide an opportunity to recognise the hospital’s contribution to healthcare while rallying support to improve its facilities for future generations.
